Scoring System
Every casino on Top5OnlineCasinos receives a rating out of 5, shown next to its listing. The rating is the weighted average of eight category scores:
| Category | Weight |
|---|---|
| Welcome offer value | 20% |
| Games and providers | 15% |
| Redemption speed and options | 15% |
| Fairness, safety and security | 15% |
| Ongoing bonuses and rewards | 10% |
| Mobile experience | 10% |
| Sign-up process | 5% |
| Customer support | 10% |
- 4.8 to 5.0 Excellent. Best-in-class across the board, with generous offers and fast, reliable redemptions.
- 4.5 to 4.7 Very Good. Strong all-rounders with one or two minor weaknesses.
- 4.0 to 4.4 Good. Solid, trustworthy sites that excel in some areas but trail the leaders in others.
- Below 4.0 Fair. Listed for completeness; usable but with notable drawbacks.
Scores are reviewed monthly. A material change to an offer, redemption policy or state availability triggers an immediate re-score. Compensation does not affect category scores, but it may affect the order in which sites with similar scores appear. Read more in How We Rank and our Advertising Disclosure.
