Which sweepstakes casino has the best no-purchase welcome bonus?
Last verified: · By Emma B., Senior Content Writer · How we rank
Mega Bonanza gives the largest free start in our top 13: Get 80K GC + 30 FREE SC + 30 FS, credited for registering and verifying, with no purchase required and a 1x playthrough on the free Sweeps Coins. Every site we rank credits free Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins at sign-up and none requires a purchase to play or to redeem prizes. The two terms to check on any welcome offer are the playthrough on Sweeps Coins (usually one to three times the amount) and the expiry window on promotional coins and free spins.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to buy coins to win prizes?
No. Sweeps Coins are given away free through welcome bonuses, daily logins, social media giveaways and a free mail-in request, and any of them can be used to win redeemable prizes.
How do I claim a welcome bonus?
Tap the offer you want, fill in the short registration form and verify your email. Your free Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins are credited automatically, and the first-purchase offer appears on the promotions page.
What is the playthrough on free Sweeps Coins?
Sweeps Coins winnings must be played a set number of times, typically once to three times, before they can be redeemed. The free welcome SC carry this requirement; the exact figure is in each site's promotion terms.
Do welcome bonuses expire?
Promotional coins and free spins usually have to be used within a window stated in the promotion, so collect them when you intend to play. First-purchase offers typically run for 24 to 72 hours after sign-up.
